The wine’s aromatic constellation is bright and complex, delivering notes of apple, fresh lime, a beautiful base of chalky minerality, citrus blossoms, lemongrass and blossoming notes of paraffin in the upper register. On the palate the wine is deep. full-bodied and more reserved in personality than the Butteaux, with the same excellent core of pure fruit, lovely soil signature, a fine girdle of acidity and a long, complex and very nicely balanced finish.
