ETIENNE SAUZET PULIGNY MONTRACHET 1ER CRU SOUS LE PUITS

The 2024 Puligny-Montrachet Sous Le Puits 1er Cru, which lies close to Meursault-Blagny on the higher contours, has a slightly leaner bouquet with apple blossom and dewy meadow scents, reticent at the moment compared to other cuvées. The palate conveys plenty of energy, more than the La Garenne, quite linear in style and just needs a tad more mineralité to shape the finish. Probably on par with the 2023 in terms of pedigree albeit in a different style
